Kidney disease and illness can be a real pain in the side, but keeping your kidneys healthy doesn’t have to be! Join two members of the Brigham and Women’s Kidney Palliative Care team; Kate Sciacca (Nurse Practitioner) and Isaac Longobardi (Research Assistant), for an informational discussion of both kidney health and kidney disease. Topics will include: kidney disease basics; kidney-friendly diet, exercise, and self-care; how to actively monitor your kidney health; and how to support yourself and loved ones at any stage of kidney disease. Whether you know someone with kidney disease, or simply want to learn for yourself, please join us. Meet at Beacon House, 19 Myrtle Street, Community Room. BHV members and guests. Free.
