On the walk M J Shultz will highlight the squares and gardens of this picturesque
neighborhood. The blooms should be delightful, and there are many famous people
remembered in small pocket parks throughout. As grand finale we’ve arranged to visit
the magnificent Cathedral of the Holy Cross, recently renovated and restored, and
rededicated in 2019. Lunch will follow at Black Lamb on Tremont Street..
This is not a long walk in distance, less than one mile, but there is much to see and
admire. We’ll take in as much as we can. We now will be using a voice amplifier! The
topography is flat, though the brick sidewalks often require some agility a/o attention.
The walk is free, and guests are welcome. Registration is very highly recommended for BV members, and guests, in order that your name is on the notification list in case of a weather cancellation. BV members can register a guest themselves or contact the BV Office to register their guest, guests must be registered in association with a BV member. You will receive the complete meet-up details when you register.
