This month's excursion is to the New England Quilt Museum, founded in 1987, is located in downtown Lowell, Massachusetts and is the only institute in the Northeastern United States solely dedicated to the art and craft of quilting. It is the second-oldest quilt museum in the United States. It houses special and permanent exhibits, a library, a museum shop, and classrooms. Collections are strong in 19th century quilts, with a geographic focus on New England.
We'll have both a guided tour experience and some time to explore on our own. Transportation is provided from a pick up location in Beacon Hill to the museum in Lowell and back.
Accessibility: The NEQM is fully accessible with accessible entrances, elevator access, and seating throughout the galleries. There may be some steps to enter and exit the charter vehicle for this trip.

Cancellations for this event will be nonrefundable and you will continue to be responsible for the ticket price unless another member registers for the event in your place.
