About Leo:
Leo was born in Chicago in 1945 and graduated from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in 1971. He practiced General Dentistry in the western suburbs of Chicago for thirty-six years and has been "retired" for eighteen years. He and his wife, Sue, managed to stay married for fifty years before she died of cancer in 2021. Sue and Leo dog-sledded to the North Magnetic Pole in 2000 and climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in 2004.
After the loss of his wife, he made the decision to travel around the world on the tall ship Picton Castle, satisfying his lifelong obsession with sailing around the world. Leo was 77 and 78 years old during the voyage. He will be sharing his experiences from this sailing voyage.
This program is in-person only at the West End Museum. Registration Required.
