Boston is a city full of amazing architecture and historic churches. This month we enter the Church of the Covenant on Newbury St to learn about its history and stories. This building was one of the earliest of many extraordinary churches built after the landfill of the Back Bay was begun in the 1850s. In 1932 the Central Congregational Church and the First Presbyterian Church federated to create the Church of the Covenant. Today, the church is most well known for it's iconic Tiffany windows of which it has 42. Learn more at this 60 minute guided tour.
No money is collected at the time of registration for this event, so we instead ask all participants to bring $10 with them to this program as tribute to the time Church of the Covenant staff are taking to show us around.
