Join Walks! Leaders Anne Tanner and M J Shultz on a “waterside route” through North Point and Paul Revere Parks. The opportunity to improvise on the piano or to remember the fall of the Berlin Wall may surprise you! Much to take in along this route: a duck boat on the surface, and a river underground, with old and new dams between. Lunch will be at Blackmoor Bar and Tavern on the Charlestown side of the new Bill Russell Bridge.
The walk through the parks is flat and paths are paved BUT the pedestrian bridge between the North Point and Paul Revere Parks, has relatively steep inclines up and down. It’s paved and has railings and good views if you take it in stages. The approximate distance for this walk is one mile.
The walk is free, and guests are welcome. Registration is very highly recommended for BV members, and guests, in order that your name is on the notification list in case of a weather cancellation. BV members can register a guest themselves or contact the BV Office to register their guest, guests must be registered in association with a BV member. You will receive the complete meet-up details when you register.
