Join us in welcoming  Betsey Williams and Meghan Melvin to the Karen Garvin Conversations With… Speaker Series. Betsy and Meghan worked closely in developing one of the MFA’s current exhibitions titled Framing Nature: Gardens and Imagination. They’ll share with us their experience co-curating the exhibition and the decisions behind the curatorial process.

Dr. Elizabeth (Betsy) Dospěl Williams is the Penny Vinik Chair of Fashion, Textiles, and Jewelry at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA).

Meghan Melvin is the Jean S. and Frederic A. Sharf Curator of Design in the Department of Prints and Drawings at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA).

As is customary, we will begin the evening with refreshments and time to socialize before Betsy and Meghan begin speaking at 6:00 pm. Following their presentation we will allow ample time for questions from the audience.
