Stroll the Churches of the Back Bay with surviving magnolias and one synagogue. Join M.J. Shultz and other members of the Walks! committee - Irene, Anne, and Bonnie - to wander the Back Bay with an eye toward its many places of worship. We’re working to uncover interesting bits to highlight our walk, not the least of which may be the area’s glorious magnolias - fingers crossed. 

Meet at 10:30 AM outside the Copley Square T station directly adjacent to Old South Church. 

Registration is required for BHV members and their guests. Free. Weather permitting. As you know the terrain for this Stroll is flat, but Boston’s sidewalks can be treacherous. Bring walking sticks and canes with you for confidence and support. At the time of this publication, masks are voluntary.

Strolls move at an easy pace for about one hour, including rest stops. Walks strive to move at a steady pace for about 1 1/2 hrs. Each is led by 2 BHV members; each offers the opportunity to stay for a group lunch afterwards; each is oriented around access by subway, and each requires registration for both members and their guests.
