Join new BHV member Nat Butler for a Winter Chat on Zoom about the love letters his parents wrote to one another during World War II.
Nat shares this preview of what to expect during the program:
“About 40 years after they were written, I first discovered the letters my mother and father wrote to each other during World War II while he, my father, was in the Navy and stationed in the South Pacific. However, I did not read these letters until this past summer, more than 75 years after they were written. Prior to my presentation, the BHV office will send you my written introduction to the letters. While it is certainly not necessary to read this introduction before my presentation, doing so will help to orient you to what I will say, and allow you to think of any questions you may have which I will try to answer. The days of hand-written letters are, largely, over – sadly. I will try to convey in my talk what these letters have meant to me.”
This event is for BHV members only. Free. This event is presented as part of BHV’s new Winter Chat series. Registration is required to receive the Zoom invitation.
