Managing Stress during the COVID Pandemic

Dealing with the COVID pandemic has been challenging, with the mandate of social distancing and fear of getting the virus.  Dr. Beth Frates will give tips to reduce stress while we’re staying home, maintaining social distancing in public spaces, and avoiding large groups.  She’ll lead a discussion on how to manage stress and thrive during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Beth Frates, MD trained as a physiatrist and a health and wellness coach.  She’s an expert in lifestyle medicine, and she works to empower patients to reach their optimal level of wellness by adopting healthy habits.  Dr. Frates won awards for teaching at Harvard Medical School, where she is an assistant clinical professor.  She co-authored The Lifestyle Medicine Handbook: An Introduction to the Power of Healthy Habits.
