Join BHV members on a Roxbury Youth Historian tour! The John Eliot Square neighborhood tour is a 60-minute walking tour that showcases one of Boston’s oldest communities. This youth-guided tour highlights Roxbury as a site of Revolutionary history and shares the developments leading to the multicultural community here now. Learn about how the neighborhood has changed and the places that honor the many people who have called Roxbury home. Meet inside Urban Ministries, 10 Putnam St., Roxbury (parking is available). Roxbury Crossing on the Orange Line is the closest T stop (a half-mile walk to UUUM). Terrain is mostly flat with some bricked areas. Opportunity to rest and use facilities half-way through tour. Total distance covered is one mile. BHV members & guests: $10.
