I forgot my keys, glasses, meds – again. Sometimes I can’t recall names or words when I want them. Are these memory lapses just part of aging or something else? Dr. Fadi Ramadan, a primary care physician and geriatrician at Tufts Medical Center, will talk with us about the important differences between the typical memory changes that come with age and those related to dementia; how to recognize symptoms of dementia; how dementia is diagnosed. He will also suggest steps to reduce the risks of dementia or slow it down. After his presentation, Dr. Ramadan will welcome your questions. This program is presented in partnership with the Boston Public Library, as part of Beacon Hill Village’s Living Well/Ending Well series. Please register online or by calling Beacon Hill Village or to get more information about this event: 617-723-9713.
